Mattson had previously played with Swedish bands The Wild Ones and Jan Rohde and The Adventurers, touring in Finland several times. Pepe, Kurre and Kaj were soon to form Jormas (at first called The Beatmakers) together with singer Ralle Wikström and guitarist Seppo Keurulainen, who, in early 1966 was replaced by Hasse Walli on lead guitar.
